Plzensky Prazdroj - Pilsen brewery

The brewery's courtyard, the Pilsner Urquell brew house and part of the ancient brewery cellars form a tour route which every year attracts tens of thousands of tourists from the Czech Republic and abroad. Even today, Pilsner Urquell is still produced in the brewery cellars following the traditional methods and experienced brewers compare the beer from wooden barrels with the beer that is fermented in the modern cylindrical-conical tanks. Not only will you learn about the brewery's history and unique technology used to produce Pilsner Urquell, but you can also taste the beer from wooden barrels directly in the cellars.

The Pilsen brewery produces the brands Pilsner Urquell and Gambrinus. Plzensky Prazdroj's management headquarters and the Visitors´ Centre form part of the large, historic premises
