Start your career at Prazdroj

Working for Prazdroj is a dream come true for me and a life story that we have been writing together since 2015. I started in part time jobs in the Craft & Heritage Department and in the Technical Department, and gradually moved to full-time as Controlling Specialist and Visitor Tour Maintenance&Development Specialist. In these roles, I enjoyed working with people and solving HR queries the most, so I moved on from “Tourists” to HR, where I covered recruitment for Manufacturing and Supply Chain in the Czech Republic until autumn 2024. Currently, I am Senior TA&TM Specialist, where I recruit mainly senior roles for the commercial and production part. I am most grateful to Prazdroj for the opportunities it offers people and for the people I have been able to meet thanks to them. What is your story going to be...?

After finishing my graphic design studies, I felt the need to get employed in real life to be more motivated than at school. My position has no equivalent in other companies. It includes graphics, technical issues, communication with external suppliers, a bit of administration, and especially huge responsibility for what I publish for our consumers.  I take care that the public space is not flooded with useless and ugly advertising, which upset me long before Prazdroj.  Originally, I was concerned about working for a big company, but a positive recommendation from a friend convinced me. Well, it was the first CV I submitted, and I hope it will be the last one as well. Prazdroj is stability, prosperity and mainly certainty, which is hard to find nowadays. My working hours are great and my team is excellent. If you are hesitating, don’t and become Prazdroj!

My journey in Prazdroj started at a reception as a fresh graduate of an economic faculty. The firm allowed me further career growth – firstly into an assistant role, and after a year I changed fields and moved into the purchasing team. Then I took a few years off due to maternity leave. But even after that, my steps lead back to Prazdroj. Thanks to home-offices and flexible working hours, I never had an issue combining work with my personal life. My current role is called Commodities Team Leader. My colleagues and I buy the raw materials necessary to produce our beer. It´s extremely varied work because the weather plays a major role, especially in agricultural commodities. And so every year is completely different. We work with external suppliers, as well as with colleagues across the company - mainly with production, and quality, but also with marketing. With every product innovation, we ensure the most suitable raw materials for our newest drinks. I enjoy teamwork and cooperation at Prazdroj. We need one another and are always able to find a solution together. My colleagues are experts I can always rely on. At the same time, they are all very kind and supportive of each other. When tackling any challenge, I feel we are pulling together and I am never alone.
