“The beer market has been going through changes whose dynamics result from shifting consumer behavior and the economic situation. We are expecting a further increase in demand for more variety and a broader range of products. Changing consumer preferences inspired many innovations such as the new wheat beer Fénix, a full range of PET, extending our flavored malt based products Frisco with new Cranberry and the mixed beer-based drinks Gambrinus Sharp Lemon and Gambrinus Lime & Elderberry,” said Doug Brodman, Managing Director of Plzeňský Prazdroj.

In the past two-year fiscal period, Prazdroj paid CZK 8.78 billion in direct and indirect taxes**. The turnover of commercial cooperation with business partners, mostly farmers, transport companies and service suppliers, reached CZK 12.2 billion, 89% of which went to Czech companies ***.

As part of its sustainable development strategy, Plzeňský Prazdroj invested more than CZK 209 million*** in modernization and environmentally-friendly projects aimed at reducing the consumption of energy, water, heat and the carbon footprint.
