Plzeňský Prazdroj is increasing fees for Kegs

19.2.2010 Company

Unmarked kegs will be sold and bought back for the original price of 600,- Kč (31.5 USD) until March 31, 2011. The fee for other kegs that Plzeňský Prazdroj, a.s. uses, with volumes of 30 liters and 15 liters, will not change, which means that it will remain at 600,- Kč (31.5 USD).

One can distinguish the new kegs, sold for 1000,- Kč (52.5 USD), by a new identification system, which includes an elastic band around the circumference of the keg, an identification code on the top of the keg, and a serial number and a delivery number on the bottom of the keg.

Business partners and customers of the Plzeňský Prazdroj have already been notified or are currently being notified in accordance with business conditions. They will receive a detailed description of the new marking system, together with photographs and graphics, well in advance. Information will also soon be available on Plzeňský Prazdroj’s website at www.prazdroj.cz/cz/obchod/zaloha. The change in fees for kegs is in accordance with valid legislation.

Plzeňský Prazdroj has been using the present type of kegs since approximately 1993. The payment for kegs has not changed since that time.
