The Resting Zone “K-LEE-DECK” Is Heading For Festivals

This year’s interesting innovation, in the form of the K–LEE–DECK resting zone, is brought by SANANIM with the support of Plzeňský Prazdroj, who also brought last year’s project, Promile INFO. It is the successful continuation of the long-time cooperation between the non–profit sector and the significant producer of classic Czech beer, as well as a whole line of other beverage novelties.

„We all can make a bad judgement from time to time, and during the summer festival season, it is just the level of alcohol in one’s blood. We would like to make our visitors aware of this risk, so they stop for a while and think about their alcoholic beverage intake. If they feel that they need to take a little time off, we will provide them with some space and expert supervision,“ Roman Blažíček from the Civic Association SANANIM commented on the project.

The safety of visitors at similar events is not only a question of various barriers and restrictions, but also of the given environment and service provided. The resting zone will increase visitors’ comfort and add to their safety.

„We will introduce the resting zone during the break of July and August, when the festivals will be in full swing. Right now, we are finalising the last details and finishing the tent production. We would like to visit about ten festivals this year. I  believe that the resting zone will serve the visitors well, and it will support our mission to promote responsible alcohol consumption at these festivals,“ said Drahomíra Mandíková, Director of Corporate Affairs and Communication of Plzeňský Prazdroj.

SANANIM Civic Association

Civic Association SANANIM is the oldest such association in Czech Republic (established in 1990), and today it is also the largest non–governmental provider of services in the field of prevention, care, treatment, and rehabilitation of those addicted to nonalcoholic drugs.
