During Pilsner Fest, the Boulevard Will Transform into A Relaxation Zone

This year, the programme at the visitors relaxation zone in front of the brewery’s gates will offer the final rounds of the „Music Group“ and the new „Dance Group“ categories of the „Urquell of Talents“ competition. There will also be comical performances by Iva Pazderková, Miloš Knor, and Daniel Čech from the show “I Take It While Standing”.

„We are thankful for the support of the town of Plzeň that made it possible for us to widen the area where the Pilsner Fest is taking place. The temporary closing of the busy „U Prazdroje” street will increase visitors’ security and make it possible for us to widen the menu of the Pilsner Fest programme. The detour takes the drivers to the nearby streets and we hope that thanks to weekend traffic it will not mean much trouble and delays for them,“ said Jiří Mareček of Plzeňský Prazdroj.

„U Prazdroje“ street will be completely closed due to security concerns from the intersection of streets „U Prazdroje“  and „Sirková“ all the way down to the intersection of streets „U Prazdroje“ and „Lobezská“ from 9:00 pm on Friday, August 31st  to 5:00 am on Sunday, September 2nd, 2012.

There will be a large number of people moving around and nearby the brewery during Pilsner Fest, and therefore we would like to ask drivers to show courtesy and drive with extreme caution.
