Statement of Plzeňský Prazdroj to the situation at czech football

Gambrinus has brought to Czech Football fans 17 years of great experiences, passion and related enjoyment. However our fans share our deep concern about the current situationin Czech football and they are rightly asking what we are doing.

We have repeatedly expressed our serious dissatisfaction in discussions with the  football association and this is reflected in our position regarding potential future cooperation. Our contract with football will end in June 2014 and we have not agreed any extension yet.In the upcoming discussion, we will require concrete solutions from the federation how they will improve the image of Czech football and rebuild trust with Czech football fans – our consumers.

In case that we are not satisfied with their proposals to improve the image of Czech football, we are ready to look for other forms of support for football in Czech.
