Prague pavement flooded with Pilsner beer

An original performance by Eugen Brikcius will open “The Fount of Czech Culture”, a novel exhibition of art inspired by beer.

Eugen Brikcius, one of the artists involved in
work on the extensive exhibition entitled “The Fount of Czech Culture”,
will open the exhibition officially on Thursday 4 September with an
original performance. With the help of the book “Utter Artists”, glasses
of beer, music by the Jazz Bluffers and the participation of invited
guests, Eugen Brikcius will direct the creation of a work of art on the
street.

The public will be able to view the performance
on the embankment near the Manes Exhibition Hall on 4 September, starting
at 6.00 p.m. The exhibition itself will be open from 5 – 26 September from
10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., other than on Mondays, in the Manes Gallery,
Masarykovo nabrezi 250, Prague 1. Admission is free.
