A beer bar with a capacity of 320 taps is
ready to quench the thirst of Rolling Stones fans. The operation of this
largest ever bar in the Czech Republic will be in the hands of Plzeòský
Prazdroj’s technical service throughout the concert on the Letna plain in
Prague.

“The Pilsner Urquell brand is bringing the
brightest stars of the world’s pop music scene to the Czech Republic.
Part of this long-term co-operation also includes arrangements for the
sale of beer to concertgoers,” explains Josef Krysl, Plzensky Prazdroj
technical service manager
. “We started in September 1996 with Michael
Jackson’s concert, and we prepared the hitherto most extensive service
for last year’s OzzFest at Strahov stadium. However, the preparations for
this year’s Rolling Stones concerts surpass all the earlier events,”
Krysl recalls. Up to 320 taps have been installed, and 900 hl of Pilsner
Urquell beer is ready. Eight truck-mounted cisterns, 600 barrels and 1,800
metres of beer distributing pipes will be used to equip the tap rooms.
Thirty-five Plzensky Prazdroj technicians will provide technical services
to the tap rooms.

“Selling beer at this event is a matter of
personal and professional honour for us. I personally grew up on the
Stones, and also professionally we are proud to be the only ones in the
country to be able to arrange beer sales to such an extent in such a short
time,” concludes Josef Krysl of Plzensky Prazdroj.

The largest beer bar will be installed in the spaces reserved for the concert on Saturday, 26 July.
