Having contributed significantly to the recent
successful „Concert of Celebrities“, Plzensky Prazdroj, a. s. has prepared
another cultural treat. This time, it will be a series of concerts given
by Lubomir Brabec and his guests at the Kozel château. Without any doubt,
beer and brewing constitute part of the Czech culture. That is why
Plzensky Prazdroj, a. s., as the most famous Czech brewer, acknowledges
its part as a citizen of the city and region and with this responsibility
in mind, fulfils its role of major contributor to cultural life.

Plzensky Prazdroj, a. s. is now offering a series
of seven concerts by a native of Pilsen, guitarist Lubomir Braec, to
lovers of beautiful music. Lubomir Brabec has invited sparkling
guests. Even the very first concert at the Kozel château, to be held on
28th April, promises an extraordinary experience – Lucie Bila will
give a guest performance. And which performers will be featured during the
other concerts? The Stamnic Quartet (26th May), violinist Pavel
Sporcl
(23rd June), the Apollon Quartet (7th July), the
Artemis piano trio
(25th August). Another concert will be titled “A
Tribute to Vivaldi
” (22nd September). Gabriela Benackova is to
be the guest at a Christmas concert due to take place on 22nd December.
“By organising a series of concerts, my long-time dream has come true. The
reason is my life-long love affair with the Kozel château. This was the
place where I gave the first concert of my own. Most of my records are
made in the château chapel,” confessed Lubomir Brabec.

Plzensky Prazdroj, a. s., part of Czech culture –
this the motto made true by the biggest brewer in Central and Eastern
Europe with its series of concerts with Lubomir Brabec, besides other
events. “Our company, Plzensky Prazdroj, a. s., feels itself part of Czech
culture. It is, therefore, natural that many of our sponsorship or
promotional activities provide support for it and contribute to its
development,” said Vladimir Jurina, Corporate Brand Manager of Plzensky
Prazdroj, a. s. The company lives up to this through permanent cooperation
with the National Theatre and the Prague Philharmonia. However, a series
of sponsorship projects are aimed at the Pilsen region, the home of the
company. They include the film festival Finale (Finale), the event Jazz a
struny na ulici (Jazz and strings in the streets), and the festival
Divadlo (the Theatre).
