Restaurant Písečná in Rožnov was given an award for its care of beer quality and its environment

In the brewery we brew the best-quality beer. The moment we pour it, it can only lose its quality. That is why we have to do everything to ensure that the beer tastes the same way at the brewery and in pubs or restaurants. In order to be able to do this, we need to take care during transportation and warehousing. But a big part of the work has to be done by owners and managers of pubs or restaurants as well, because a well-poured beer from a well-sanitized beer-piping system is exactly what beer drinkers love and appreciate. We at Prazdroj show our appreciation by awarding a plaque for the care and quality provided by Písečná,” says business brewer at Plzeňský Prazdroj, Zdeněk Baszczynski.

The manager of the Rožnov restaurant, Písečná, successfully cares for beer quality, whether this means sufficiently low temperature of warehoused beer, correct push gas, correctly set pressure in the taps, clean and cool glasses, ideal beer temperature, correct pouring of beer, regular cleaning of the beer pipes or correct serving of the beer.

“We are certain that the secret behind our success is a long-lasting care of the Pilsner Urquell and Radegast beers and our fantastic customers. It wouldn’t be possible without the great attitude with which our bartenders and servers serve our customers,” says Josef Zeť, manager of the Písečná restaurant.

Josef Zeť was given a metal commemorative seal and a commemorative certificate from the hands of Zdeněk Baszczynski, business brewer from Plzeňský Prazdroj. At the same time a red seal of Prazdroj was visible on the inside and outside of the certificate of quality.

“A certificate for great care of beer on tap clearly states you are at the right pub, beer is properly served here. As a matter of fact, today we have awarded systematic care and regular sanitation of beer pipes, and of all that makes a truly great pub,” adds Daniel Janeček from technical service at Plzeňský Prazdroj.

The Písečná restaurant is famous for its great cuisine. Patrons come here mainly for great dishes made with game or fish. The restaurant also became famous through the popular Goulash and Beer Days event, as well as its pork delicatessen from pig sticking.
