Fans of FC Baník Will Meet with Players in Eight Pubs

“When Radegast became Baník’s partner, we promised that we would focus on activities for the fans. I am convinced that all Baník fans dream of playing in Bazaly stadium. That dream will come true for many of them on Saturday, and those who were unable to get to their team’s pub will surely come to support their friends,” said Karel Kraus, Radegast marketing manager.

Before the match, however, fans will meet with the players in their chosen pubs. Two players, acting as captains or team assistants, will visit each pub to allow visitors the chance to talk about everything relating to soccer and the Baník team over glasses of beer.

”My suggestion to all the men is to play with their hearts and give it their all for the team. There is no way to succeed without cooperation and sacrifice. Our detailed tactics are, of course, a secret. We do not want to pass the ball to our rivals,” said Michal Frydrych, who will be a captain at pub Assen in Ostrava-Zábřeh.

The Tournament of Dreams will start in Bazaly on Saturday at 1:00 pm. Baník will start its match against MŠK Žilina at 4:30 pm. The best player in the Tournament of Dreams will never forget this special match, as he will be playing in the colours of FC Baník Ostrava.
